Tashi Kunga was offered his Tibetan musician's name by His Holiness of
The Dalai Lama in 2008 after his play "Jolak Tashi" in front of His
Holiness in Fukuoka, Japan.
He has organized a string of Tibetan music concerts with Techung, Chemey Youdon,
Sharub Wangmo, Pasang Dolma for the past 6 years and this year he played with Tenzin
Kunsang who learned at TIPA for 8 years and came to Japan with his wise Japanese wife.
The concert tour was named, "From the sky above Tibet, now".
They have performed in Fukuoka, Oita, Osaka, Okayama, Koube, Kyoto and Tokyo.
They will continue to tour until the end of October in northern Japan.
